ECMO Academy
Institutional Enrollment

Unlimited access to the Academy’s entire library of material is available to all members of the enrolling institution’s ECMO team, including physicians, physician extenders, perfusionists, nurses, respiratory therapists and ECMO specialists using an assigned institutional password.

Academy enrollment is for one year. Discounted tuition is available for smaller volume ECMO programs with fewer team members. Individual enrollment is not currently available. Standard Tuition,
Unlimited members:

STANDARD TUIRTION

The standard tuition is for ECMO centers with 25 or more specialists and staff, 20 or more providers, averaging 30 or more ECMO cases/year.

Discount Tuition A,
Up to 40 members:

DISCOUNT TUITION PLAN A

Discounted tuition plan A is intended for medium size ECMO centers with around 12-25 specialists, 10-20 providers, averaging about 15-30 cases/year.

Discount Tuition B,
Up to 25 members:
1 year (no CME)…….……$1500 1 year (with CME*)….…….$1650

*AMA Category 1 credit hours are currently available for physicians (MD, DO), Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners and is provided through the CME office at The Ochsner Clinic Foundation, New Orleans, LA. The Academy continues to explore potential CME credit for perfusionists, RNs and RTs.

DISCOUNT TUITION PLAN B Discounted tuition plan is intended for smaller ECMO centers with under 15 specialists, under 10 providers, averaging less than 15 cases/year.

Applications for Discounted tuition must include the number of center members (specialists, part and full time, and providers - MD/DO/NP/PA) and documentation of the number of ECMO cases over the previous 3 years. ELSO member centers may provide their reports with redaction of patient outcome and other private center data other than number of cases. Non-ELSO member centers can provide other evidence of their case numbers.
